The matrix multiplication ϕ-1Aϕ (((the -1 is a superscript number))) is a concise way of formulating the translation of a
process from one frame of reference to another – to tell the same story in different languages, so to speak. Playing with
the discrepancy in the languages of reality and abstraction is at the origin of the work: it creates a space where the physical
world meets its virtual model through the eyes of its observer.
